Analyse this, Nick Assinder
This post is for Nick Assinder, BBC political analyst, who wrote this piece on the Liberal Democrat party leadership this morning.
Nick. We have just enjoyed a conference week where the “talk on the street” has been anything but party leadership. I know all you hacks arrived in Brighton desperately hoping for a members revolt against Ming. But there was nothing, zip, zilch. So you have spent the entire week harassing potential future leaders and making up ridiculous statements about “the feeling amongst members”.
We have passed some outstanding, radical policy on tough issues. Where is the truly insightful analysis of these policies?
On the final day of conference, you sit down at your laptop, probably in a rush to get to Starbucks before the lunchtime rush, and make up the biggest load of bollocks imaginable.
You are an irresponsible journalist. You take the easy option, jump on a bandwagon, because you are quite simply lazy.
I urge everyone to contact the BBC and complain not just about this “political analyst” but the entire media coverage of this conference, which has been nothing short of pathetic.

I complained earlier today. I’m not normally moved to to go running to editors but the BBC’s coverage was so partial, lazy and frankly shite I really did have to tell them what I thought. The headline, especially was plain wrong. The kind of thing I’d have expected to get a typewriter thrown at me in my reporting days.
