Tories have “fire in their belly”

I’ve just heard a brief snippet of an interview with David Cameron on Five Live, in which he claims the Conservatives have “fire in their belly” and are ready for a potential snap general election. (Guardian story here)

Fire in their belly? HA! Belly ache more like.

Can anyone, gold, red, blue or green, give me one good reason why Cameron should believe the Tories have “fire in their belly”?

Unless they’ve all been for a dodgy vinadloo…
